“Eleven Songs for the Ruin of Man” is That Lonesome Sound’s first album release. The album was recorded in the Norwegian countryside and features a collection of soulful songs with stripped down but powerful arrangements. The Norwegian duo draws their inspiration from old american folk music and pre-war blues, as well as from more recent alternative american folk music.
“Eleven Songs for the Ruin of Man” er That Lonesome Sounds debutalbum. Albumet ble spilt inn i landlige omgivelser og inneholder en samling sjelfulle sanger med nedstrippede, men kraftfulle arrangementer. Den norske duoen finner inspirasjon i gammel amerikansk folkmusikk og blues, så vel som i mer moderne alternativ folk og country.
